RIDING
VACATIONS
Riding
packages include one day less of riding than the number of
nights that you are staying with us. Most guests do not arrive
early enough in the day to take advantage of the afternoon
ride on arrival day, and like to get away after breakfast
on departure day. If, however, you would like to add an additional
day of riding to your stay, please just let us know and we
will adjust your quote.
Children
and Non-Riders
We welcome all children to take part in horseback riding.
However, children who are 8 years and younger, or those who
are quite small, may be ponied or worked with in a corral.
We put safety first when it comes to horses and children.
Anyone who is not riding is welcome to take part in any other
ranch activities.
Please see Ranch Stays
for rates for non-riders.
WINTER
VACATIONS
Winter
packages include one day less of activities than the number
of nights that you are staying with us due to the shorter
days of winter and your travel time.
Dog sledding does require a degree of athletic ability but
can usually be managed by a youth the age of 12. If youth
would like to participate in dog-sledding please let us know
ahead of time so we can arrange it with the guide.
